Mehrdad Mosaferi, the author of DES_photomag's first Special Project, is an artist and photographer born in 1998 in Bandarabbas, Iran.
He started his photographic activity in 2017 as a photography assistant and has recently dedicated himself more deeply to his personal projects such as We Won't Make It To The Celebration and Invasion, the latter finalist in the 4th edition of the Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech.
His personal projects are an approach of experiences in his personal life on the basis of suppressive social structures and cultural restrictions, and their focus is to examine his own relationship with these elements and rebel against them.
Mehrdad Mosaferi's work has been published in magazines such as I_D, The Persian Magazine, Lenscratch and DES_Photomag.
