DES_Gallery is a curated space within DES_Photomag
The DES_Gallery is a carefully curated space highlighting photographers whose work has entered into dialogue with DES_Photomag through print, conversation, and long-form editorial projects. It is not an open showcase or a submission-based archive. Each presence reflects a moment of recognition, where a body of work, an image, or a voice contributes meaningfully to the DES_ narrative.
The DES_Gallery will grow slowly, guided by curatorial intent, trust, and a shared commitment to photography beyond ego, trends, or noise. Every new presence tells a story and reflects a moment of meaningful recognition.
The first entries in DES_Gallery
Tom Berth
Selected cover photographer and guest of our first podcast conversation, Tom’s work reflects a sensitive balance between documentary depth and poetic restraint. His presence marks the beginning of a long-form dialogue between image and editorial voice within DES.
Andrew McLeish
An English-born photographer living in Paris, Andrew’s work explores intimacy, narrative, and visual memory. During our conversation, he shared the personal story behind one of his most significant images — inspired by the iconic portrait of John Lennon and Yoko Ono — revealing the depth of thought behind his practice.
Andreas Geisinger
With a background in sociology and psychology, Andreas approaches street photography as both observation and reflection. His work explores the theatrical nature of everyday life, capturing unscripted moments where individuals unknowingly perform their roles within the city’s ongoing drama.
These are not featured portfolios.
They are the beginning of an editorial archive of presence.
How the Gallery will grow
DES_Gallery will expand gradually as new photographers become part of the DES ecosystem through:
Cover selections
Editorial features
Conversations and podcasts
Print projects
Long-form collaborations
In some cases, inclusion may come from a single image that carried weight. In others, from a sustained editorial relationship.
There is no application form.
There is no open call.
There is only curatorial attention.
DES_Photomag is an independent photography platform and printed publication, guided by the principles of talent over ego and curated excellence.
