DES Selections
Curated photographic storytelling in series
DES Selections is a curated editorial program dedicated to photographic storytelling and the development of cohesive visual narratives. It provides a space for photographers to move beyond single images and create intentional series, reinforcing both individual practice and the DES photographic community.
Monthly Selection
Each month, one photographic series is selected by the DES editorial team. From each selected series, three images are featured to highlight narrative clarity, sequencing, and visual cohesion.
Quarterly Feature
On a quarterly basis, selected photographers may be invited for an expanded editorial presentation on the DES website. These features provide broader narrative context and may include optional mentoring, interviews, and collaborative development toward printed booklets. Participation is invitation-only.
Upcoming Publication
The three photographers selected per quarter will have their featured images included in the dedicated DES Selections section of the redesigned TopBest Magazine (2026 edition).
