When DES_Photomag started, it lived entirely online — a printed magazine, a feed, a community spread across more than 40 countries who mostly never see each other's work together, let alone in the same room.

Now we are one more step toward the annual gallery exhibition we've wanted to build since the start.

DES_Letter is an editorial space where we reflect on photography, authorship, and the evolution of visual storytelling within the DES_Photomag community.

A new editorial space for longer reflections, curated texts, and selected articles from the DES_Photomag archive — written within the context of a small, print-first publication shaped by intention rather than scale. In time, DES_Newsletter will also feature selected guest texts from photographers, editors, and thinkers who resonate with the DES_ ethos.
